A Mouse Guard Character

Jääkatse

I was at Finncon 2013 and tried a role playing game called Mouse Guard. The GM gave the players some character sheets and my character was Jääkatse (meaning "Icy Gaze/Leer/Glance"), the Senior Navigator/Orienteer/Scout/something (I have no idea what's the class in English, in Finnish it was "Vanhempi Suunnistaja"). Only things I get to decide was the the weapon, the fur color, and the cape color. The "Ice" made me think of white fur and I thought brownish green was suitable for a character that knows how to survive in the forest. And since he wasn't a much of a fighter a knife was just fine for a weapon or tool. The story happened in Autumn which is why the background is a bit orange.

It was a cool game. I had a lot of fun. Also I enjoyed the convention. A lot of cool stuff in there and I bought something too.

Now about the drawing. I tried a new coloring technique and it actually looks good. When I'm actually trying and spending enough time the result is something I'm happy with. I certainly have improved. I've kept the first drawings I made after I decided to learn to draw properly. Though, I still draw the head a bit too big.
